This is the second art of the Siamese Betta Fish. Something about these aquatic creatures is majestic. Their grace, the multiple hues of colors and the sheer elegance of their tail fins. I made this art on a special request. The brief was – ‘make something yellow’. The instant I saw this photograph, I knew I have to draw this. These Betta fish are not used to living alone and always need company. Hence I made a conscious choice to have only a single fish in the art, so in real life it will always need the presence of my friend who commissioned this. And vice versa. Hope they both enjoy each other’s company and are never parted from each other.
