Title : Spirit the Stallion

Canvas Size : 53 X 77 cms

Graphite + Charcoal

Approx Time : 45+ hours

Being a history buff, my books are always full of stories of horses and how they eventually led the prince to his victory. Even the bounty is in the form of horses which was one of the rarest and most expensive commodities in those days. Personally I feel, horses are like underdogs. They never take the limelight but are always an inseparable part of your story. My childhood has memories of me trying to ride a horse miserably when my parents used to take me on the beach on one of those rare Sunday's. I remember being absolutely terrified. But every time it used to get over I always went and touched the face of that horse. That face is the one I thought I will sketch which is full of grace and innocence. And my little niece was gracious enough as always to name the art as 'Spirit the Stallion'.
