I have always been fond of chocolates and ice-creams. And their combination is sheer heaven. Hence when I first bought my color pencils, I knew the first thing I wanted to draw was a chocolate dripping over an ice-cream. And what better than this deathly combo served on a fresh waffle cone. It was a huge challenge for me as it was my first ever color pencil drawing. The shadows and light reflecting on the chocolate, capturing the thickness of the drip, the shadow indents on the waffle, the effects of depth and relief posed an amazing challenge. No wonder that while making this piece, I ordered ice-cream twice. The proof of the pudding came when people messaged me saying they felt like ordering ice-cream after seeing this. It was one of the best reactions I have got on my art piece.
